In Princeton, landscape supply yards usually price bulk material by the cubic yard and charge a delivery fee by distance, so measure the area first: one cubic yard of mulch covers about 100 square feet at three inches deep. Across New Jersey, small-engine repair shops get backed up in early spring, so service mowers over the winter. Many yards and feed stores close earlier on weekends. Princeton is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Princeton is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Regina and Jayne are THE BEST! I have been working with them for many, many years, and their expert advice, friendliness, and willingness to go above and beyond are amazing. I can’t imagine a better team to have working in any business, and especially this business of gardening, which I love so much. I would unreservedly recommend Kilians gardening team to anyone!

A 5-star rating doesn't do justice to the outstanding employees at Kilian's Outdoor Living Supply! I've been a loyal customer since their old location. Evan, Vince, and Barb are my go-to experts—their knowledge of Cambridge, Techo-Bloc, and other top brands is unmatched. They are even able to identify and match existing blocks for our customers' projects. Add in a gorgeous showroom, plenty of in-stock items, and vast expertise in hardscaping, concrete, and masonry, and you have the perfect supply yard. They are amazing and can help you with absolutely anything!

I drive by Kilian’s Outdoor Living Supply regularly and have always admired the hardscape displays they have set up. I recently had an area in my yard that I wanted to clean up and upgrade, so I stopped in and noticed their artificial putting green display — it ended up being the perfect fit for the space I had in mind. Evan was extremely helpful from the moment I walked in. He took the time to explain the different types of turf and recommended what would work best for my situation. He also referred me to Szul’s Landscapes for the installation, and I couldn’t have been happier with the recommendation. The entire process was smooth, and Kilian’s had all the materials needed to complete the project. The putting green has been a fantastic addition to our yard, and we’ve been enjoying it ever since. Thank you to everyone at Kilian’s for the great service and guidance!
